When you live abroad and do not declare your income in France, you can print a statement of your pension payments from your personal area to prove your income. Requesting a statement of my pension payments.

Declaring my income in France

If you declare your income in France, L'Assurance retraite will send the taxable amount for your basic Social Security pension directly to the tax authorities.

Brexit

The European Parliament approved the UK’s withdrawal agreement from the European Union, which was adopted by the European Council. Since 1st February 2020, the United Kingdom is therefore a non-European Union State. The transition period introduced by the withdrawal agreement ended on 31 December 2020. Brexit has therefore been fully effective since 1st January 2021.

What is the impact on your pension? If you are receiving a French pension and you reside in the United Kingdom, France or another Member State of the European Union, your pension may continue to be paid in your state of residence.
